A Super Collider Update
As anyone who follows this blog knows, we are Big Fans of Big Science. The more it looks like Star Trek, the better we seem to like it. This time, I’d like to share a little update on one of our favorite projects, the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Here’s Professor Brian Cox at TED U earlier this year, with the latest information on the LHC:
For me, the most exciting aspect of this research is the potential it offers for revolutionizing our ability to generate energy for all our modern conveniences. At last, we may be able to turn our backs on polluting fossil fuels, and walk forward into a new world of clean, sustainable energy. Here’s more directly from CERN:
Seems like most of my life, most of our concerns have boiled down to Energy. And as we noted in an earlier blog entry, A Super Collider of Ideas, Energy = Creativity. Creativity = Innovation.
Energy is life. Life is creativity, every day. Creating what we choose to have in our lives is the most important kind of creativity there is, and we’re honored to be contributing to so many lives.
(To view the latest video updates directly from CERN, here’s a link to CERN’s YouTube Channel.)
Here’s to creating a life filled with beauty and inspiration. Feel free to comment below, or e-mail us if you have any questions or concerns.
